Owen Meanie - Phil’s suggestion for a kids book. A funny experience: when the kids were coming in this morning, Phil was outside talking with them etc. — he got my attention — “Jessica, when you get a second, can I talk to you?” I was sure he was going to corner me with some behavior problem with one of my boys, but he pulled me aside to ask me what ‘the boy in the blue hat’s name is… he always talks to me and I don’t know his name!’ — I told him the boy’s name is Owen. He told me about this book —Owen Meanie — and I said I would look for it… altogether a strange interchange, I’m not sure what to make of it… at least it is good to write this down and now I can let it go…
