we are back from camping!
highlights:
- um, see above. things were gorgeous.
- we could see every single star and saw some huge shooting stars, like the nbc the more you know logo style stars.
- all the food worked out well and was delicious.
lowlights:
- coming around a corner on the trail. “what’s that animal over there [about 150-200 feet away}?” “um, THAT IS A BEAR.” it was a teenaged black bear, just chillin. we left the area with some haste. i was terrified.
- i got a little lady macbeth about the fact that my hands would literally never be clean.
- we had to come back to the real world. :(
