i'm one of those leftist liberals you've been warned about and genuinely want to expand the welfare state. i'm obsessed with politics, with a focus on civil rights (race, gender, disability, etc). i love charts and graphs and data. i also love street art and graffiti. i'm far too lazy for proper capitalization and i don't care.
i’m feeling quite bereft that there are no elections in which i can vote today. things seem so exciting in new york, and maine, and even mendecino, where all kinds of important things are going on and citizens have an opportunity to have their voices heard.
this is about 50% based on loving to vote in elections of any kind and 50% longing for an ‘I Voted’ sticker about which i can be righteous for the rest of the day.
