think on this.

i did not like this movie. to be fair, i could tell partway through the opening credits - filled with slow mo zombie attacks focusing more on gross out gore than actual scariness - that i wasn’t going to like it. and turns out i was right!

it’s a short movie, 1h20, but i think a good 50 or so of those minutes could have been removed without any noticable harm. i’m pretty good at filling in the cliched story lines by myself (spoiler: the only non-zombie characters hang out together! after the meet cute, love may blossom! etc.). by the time we got to the exciting finale set piece with zombies overrunning an abandoned amusement park, i hated the movie and the character so much i just wanted him to save the lady already so i could leave.

the surprise cameo is fantastic. so rent it and fast forward to that part.
